Temples of Angkor

I flew into Siem Reap, Cambodia from Bangkok 2 days ago. And for the last 2 days all I have been doing is exploring the ancient city of Angkor that houses some of the most amazing temples in the world. The city is almost 400sq miles and has dozens of temples in its borders. Some famous ones you’ve heard of, Angkor Wat and Bayon. And some you probably haven’t but are just as awesome.

The entire city is, for lack of a better word, magical. Once you enter the gates you really get a feel for how ancient the stones are. The temples are so grand and beautiful in their symmetry and symbolism. It is one of the holiest places on the planet and you really feel it when you’re here.

Hope you like photos….
